Remote Work Experience Placements
A remote work experience placement can help transform your business whilst supporting someone to gain valuable industry based experience and help start their career, whilst bringing an extra pair of hands into your workforce with a fresh approach, and up to date knowledge and skills at no extra cost to your business.
The RLG’s students can undertake these remote work experience placement hours as blocks, weekly sessions or a mix of these to suit the employer they are placed with. The placement can even be shared between employers if one business cannot offer enough hours to fulfil the requirement.
Businesses that provide work experience placements are fully supported by the RLG’s Student Services and Pastoral Care Coordinator throughout the process, from sign up to completion.
Work experience placements cost nothing but time, but can benefit the business in many ways, which includes:
- Early access to a talent pool of ‘tomorrows’ potential employees to expand your workforce with no advertising costs to your business.
- Reducing Recruitment Costs: (work experience placements are a cost-effective way of supporting your business development and growth).
- Address current knowledge and skills shortages within your business.
- Enhance the personal development, motivation and/or productivity of your existing employees via mentoring and/or the management of students on work experience placements.

Can you offer a remote work experience placement opportunity?
The RLG has a number of Higher Education (HE) students who are keen to gain first-hand experience of remote working, which can often lead to an apprenticeship and/or employment opportunity.
