The Remote Learning Group (RLG) offers competitive Tuition Fees and prides itself in providing our students with a ‘life-changing’ high quality remote teaching and learning experience. Our flexible, methodical and structured approach to teaching and learning allows you to learn in your own space, and at your own pace. Students are also allocated Personal Tutors and have access to online welfare and well-being advice, counselling services and academic support, if required.
Age Requirement
The RLG’s BTEC Higher National courses are designed for students aged 18 or over, however in some exceptional cases younger students can be entered onto a Pearson BTEC Higher National programme.
English Language Requirement
Applicants whose first language is not English must show evidence of a good level of competence in both written and spoken English (that includes EU settled or pre-settled status students). Furthermore, you may be required to complete an English Language Assessment Test to assess and determine your English language level.
Fees & Funding
To apply for a RLG course you either need to submit your application via the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) or complete and submit a RLG Application Form accessible via the following link: RLG Course Application Form
If your current school or college is registered with UCAS just ask your Tutor or Careers Advisor for help with your UCAS Application. If you’re not currently in education but are based in the UK you can apply online through UCAS independently. The UCAS website provides full instructions on the application process.

Once we’ve received your completed Application we’ll communicate with you regularly throughout the whole process, from the remote informal interview that gives you the opportunity to talk to Tutors in more detail about what the course entails, to the offer of studying at RLG and enrolment/starting your course.
All applicants must successfully pass the RLG’s Digital Identity Verification checks conducted with our online Certified Technology Provider: Trust I.D
