General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Scope & Purpose
The Remote Learning Group (RLG) is committed to protecting the rights and privacy of individuals (including our members of staff, students and others) in accordance with GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
The RLG needs to keep and process certain information about its members of staff, students and other individuals with whom it has dealings for administrative purposes, e.g., to recruit and pay members of staff, to administrate and deliver programmes of study, to record progress, to agree awards, to collect fees and to comply with legal obligations to funding and/or government bodies as indicated in its notification to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
